YES, I have an ambitious goal, $5000! BUT, when I share the "why", I think you'll agree!
The kids we serve at TurningWheels For Kids, were hit hard by COVID-19; families 1st to lose
- “You can’t imagine how much she needs a little uplifting in her life. The distant learning and not seeing her teachers and peers has not been easy for her.”
- "I have a request for a kiddo that I work with.He's 15 and has LOTS of energy and needs a bike to work some of that off."
- "Thank you all for what you do and provide! Especially during this pandemic and SIP, the staff at Chamberlain's in Hollister have depended so much on the bikes to get our kids through this difficult time. They really do! Thanks!"
Need I say more? Help us get the funds to buy bikes for these kids stuck at home when their NON-financially challenged friends are out on bikes! Imagine . . . out in the sunshine, fresh air, laughing, just like everyone else, fun,
Most of you know, TWFK was hit hard by CV-19. Our Corporate Bike Builds, over 1/2 our revenue, gone. Donations and grants suspended and redirected to essential needs. We're as grassroots as you come; no high-rollers but rather people who love and remember their biking adventures as kids. PLEASE SHARE MY FUNDRAISER and vouch for me! LOL!!
