I am a believer in what Turning Wheels For Kids has been doing for the past 15 years, and that is why I am here to help.

I have been volunteering on Team Frankenbike during the yearly TurningWheels For Kids Big Bike Build for over 12 years now, after getting to know Sue through a bicycle shop I worked in from 2005 - 2010 in San Jose, CA. I can firmly tell you that Sue is an actual Angel, incarnate, and that I am a HUGE believer in what TWFKs does for our community, so I am increasing my support in 2020.

In late May 2020 I was asked to move out of my residence in San Francisco so that the owners of the home, who lived above me, could have their house back so that their kids who lost their jobs during the pandemic could move back home. This presented the opportunity of a lifetime for me to give away most of what I own, pack my life into some Pannier bags, and jump on my bicycle for the ride of my lifetime!

Starting in late July of 2020, I left on tour from Southern Oregon to ride my bicycle across the country to NYC. Along this journey, 50% of ALL monetary support & donations I receive independently will be given to Turning Wheels For Kids, to support their efforts to make this world a better place, one bike at a time. 50% of all donations to me will be listed on this fundraiser page with the donors name. If you'd prefer to bypass me entirely, please use this page to donate 100% of what you'd like to give directly to TWFK!

TWFK is able to purchase one bicycle for one child for every $100 raised, so my hope is that by raising $5,000, we give 50 brand new bicycles to kids that would not have gotten bikes this year. Since riding a bicycle has changed and saved my life more than once, I can't think of any better way to try to help make the world a better place, than on two wheels.

Together, we ride with love, & while we're at it let's keep the rubber side down <3
